Kosho — 9oz
Kosho is defined as pepper in Japanese, but we’ve put our twist on it using different types of peppers and citruses. Yuzukosho is the most famous type coming from Kyushu which is a mix of yuzu, japanese peppers, and salt. Our current batch of kosho is a paste-like condiment made from jalapeno and serrano peppers, citrus and salt. We allow it to ferment for a week and it will continue to do so in your fridge.

The Dirty Lads Kosho is a salty, citrusy, umami bomb that you can add to all of your favorite dishes. Our kosho has a mild spiciness to it that compliments and adds complexity to flavors of foods that it’s paired with, without overpowering it.
Kosho is great with eggs, chicken, duck, fish, vegetables, breakfast sandwiches, pastas, rice bowls, pizza, and so much more.
Every jar is made in small batches and each 9 oz jar is labeled with the batch number.
